Cmc Trigger Glock - CMC Triggers makes a shiny new trigger for Glock pistols. CMC has simplified the AR's patented "Signature Flat" trigger design to fit Glock pistols. The magic is in the geometry.
The package is attractive. The trigger is CNC machined steel with a steel safety tab. The CMC GLOCK trigger uses OEM parts and springs, except for its trigger, so the excess parts simply fall off. Installation is very simple, remove the two pins, remove the factory GLOCK trigger assembly, lower the CMC part and replace the pin.

After 10 minutes of installation I went to the zone. I found the trigger to be very slick and smooth. There is a clean reception with a very smooth stop. For me, stopping power is more important than weight. This trigger is not very light, but the geometry of the straight trigger gives you a better function to constantly improve the feel. The reset is sharp and feels shorter because, again, new geometry.

The flat surface and horizontal extension of the trigger base allows your finger to feel a consistent position. I always have trouble putting my finger on it. Accurate and consistent trigger pressure is made easier with a flat trigger. When you drag your finger over the trigger, the horizontal extension also clears it.

I trained on this trigger and attended a Personal Safety Network class with it. After over a thousand rounds I like it better than I first saw it. A flat trigger is not for everyone, it is unique in that it feels like it puts your finger in the right place and fires quickly and smoothly.
